Chair’s Comments
At this time in our nation’s history our resistance is important.  So many of President Obama’s achievements in the environment, personal rights.  education and health care are under attack or have already been eliminated.  We can fight back with our phone calls and postcards to our elected representatives.  We also need to resist Governor Walker ‘s plans to erase the initiatives which used to make Wisconsin a progressive state.
The Shawano Area Women’s Network is discussing their resistance as well.  Their meetings are:
Aug.14  at 7:00 pm at Baba’s Café in Wittenberg
Aug. 28 at 6:00 pm at the Shawano Civic Center
Sept. 2 at 9:30 am at the Shawano City-County Library
