OFFICE HOURS CORRECTION

The Shawano Dems’ office across from Perkins is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm except for Thursdays when it is open until 8pm  The office is NOT open on Mondays as previously mentioned.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

—Volunteers are needed to staple signs together.  Stop in the office or call Carrie at 715-584-8249 to help out.

–Volunteers are needed to make phone calls to voters.  The script asks those contacted if they are voting for Biden/Harris and how they plan to vote.  The calling is done using your phone or one supplied in the office.  To access the script you need a computer.  All responses are recorded on the computer.  You can work from your home computer or bring a laptop to the office if you don’t have a good internet connection.

September 26 and 27 is a Weekend of Action but calls can be made any day of the week.  Our organizer, Justin  Rodriguez, is the person that should be contacted to volunteer.  He is offering a Zoom training on Thursday, September 24 at 7:00 pm.  You can click on this link to register https://secure.ngpvan.com/56LYs_8qFkKicePjH5OxzQ2   or call him at 920-931-2654 or email him at jr8703@gmail.com.  He will send you a link to join the training.

SUPREME COURT

If you are frustrated with what is happening with the Republican’s attempt to ram through a replacement for RBG on the Supreme Court, one thing you can do is text RBG to 50409.  Senators Baldwin and Johnson will get a message saying you want the decision delayed until after a new President is installed.  You will get a nice letter from Senator Baldwin thanking you for contacting her.  At least Senator Johnson will know how you feel.
