UNDERSTANDING “RIGHT TO WORK”
The concept of “Right to Work” legislation is really about the “rights” of corporations to maximize profit. Labor unions and government (The Public) interfere with their profit potential. As progressives, we must change the language and tell it the way it really is. Workers are “profit creators” and they deserve a fair, living wage portion of those profits they helped to create. Unions have protected workers in the past with the 40 hour week, overtime pay and a safe working environment. Now private unions are on the chopping block. Spread the word that this is really the Wage Theft Bill.
